THE AYLI COHORT MODEL
AYLI organizes participants into leadership cohorts that provide a structured environment for academic learning, personal development, professional growth and leadership engagement.
Each cohort brings together participants from different backgrounds and communities, creating opportunities for collaboration, dialogue, networking and shared learning.

Cohort 12 represents another stage in AYLI's continuing leadership development journey, bringing together emerging leaders through structured academic and leadership education.
THE COHORT JOURNEY
AYLI's cohort experience follows a structured leadership development journey designed to guide participants through learning, assessment, presentation and graduation.
Prospective participants apply to join the AYLI Leadership School and begin their leadership development journey.
Participants receive program information, academic guidance and an introduction to the cohort experience.
Students engage in structured courses, lectures, discussions and leadership activities.
Participants complete academic assessments and demonstrate their understanding of the subjects covered.
Students have opportunities to present their work and demonstrate communication and leadership skills.
Successful participants complete their cohort journey and receive recognition through the AYLI graduation process.
THE AYLI EXPERIENCE
Cohorts are more than academic groups. They create communities where young people can exchange ideas, build friendships, develop confidence and discover opportunities to contribute to their communities.
Through this experience, AYLI seeks to strengthen both individual leadership capacity and a broader culture of responsible youth leadership.
